Nobody *wants* to use Windows anymore. Folks rush out to buy Apple and nerds favour Linux, but Windows is increasingly just something forced on users by corporate IT.
Proton/Wine getting more and more mature is eating away at one of the few remaining things that kept non-corporate users in the Windows ecosystem.
Still proportionally small numbers, but I think this trend is likely irreversible now.
