@gsuberland where's the spacecraft right now? I have no intuition for how long it takes to get to the moon and back

@halcy @gsuberland

According to https://mastodon.art/@ratfactor/116332758623158165 , it should take about 5 days one way?

@dcoderlt @gsuberland huh! way longer than I thought, I assumed it'd be one or two days tops each way
@halcy @dcoderlt I don't think it's a full 5 days each way, iirc the whole mission is only supposed to be about 10 days
@halcy @dcoderlt looking closer I think it's a bit under 4 days travel on the return leg, I think a smidge faster on the way out
@halcy not sure, just woke up. idk if they did proxops yet and are burning out to TLI, or if they're still in high earth orbit
@gsuberland the crew are looking very forward to dropping a log4j in the waste filtration system
@gsuberland In some of the press coverage it is also stated that "The Artemis II toilet is so loud, the crew must wear ear protection while availing of the lavatorial facilities." (https://www.skyatnightmagazine.com/news/artemis-ii-crew-troubleshoot-orion-toilet-in-latest-live-mission-update)
