would be nice if there was a way to mute self boosts of specific accounts

like, i don't wanna mute em, i don't wanna unfollow em, but i am getting quite annoyed at seeing my feed being blasted by 50 self boosts in a row

or just more complex filtering of what appears in timeline than just "it has this word so either delete or apply this cw"

@SRAZKVT I've ended up unfollowing interesting people as they've tooted majorly in their native language, which I do not speak well enough to engage with. This feels like a doubly silly problem to have as we can language filter all the other feeds, just not the home feed.

Fediverse really needs better filtering.
I would love a rating/killfile system like the old usenet newsreaders had.
