My name is Namir, a Palestinian mother displaced from Gaza, known as Um Yousef. I’m writing to you from a place of pain — from a tent in southern Gaza where I’ve been living with my children for over a year after losing our home and everything we had. I am the sole provider for my family. One of my children, Mohammed, suffers from epilepsy and needs continuous medical care. Every day is a struggle — to find food, clean water, and basic medicine — not to mention the freezing cold that keeps us awake at night inside this fragile tent. This campaign was created with the help of my dear friend Emily, who stood by my side and helped me set up this link after hearing my story and seeing our desperate situation.
