@raghukamath Maybe they can. But right now they aren't.
America already landed people on the moon almost 60 years ago, and we've launched plenty of rockets and satellites since. (We've made plenty of ICBMs with this tech too.)
But we still haven't met the needs of our people. ~10% of Americans have no healthcare. We're told "it can't be done".
I'm not against science or space exploration, but we don't really need to go *back* to the moon to solve the problems that we face here on Earth.
@raghukamath Maybe I'm too cynical... It's cool to watch a rocket blast off.
But it's tax season and I'm watching my country build ballrooms for the political elites, wage pointless wars in the middle east, and try to repeat space missions that we already did when my parents were kids.
I simply don't feel that our priorities are in order.
If another country was doing it, then I would have no complaints.
