It stuns me reading and seeing all the mainstream media stories that Trump’s speech is covered as if it were given by a normal president.

It was in fact an incoherent mess of bragging, recriminations, lies, vague promises and general nonsense delivered by a mumbling idiot caked in orange make-up.

Watch it if you don’t believe me.

Until these rants are covered accurately, I don’t have much hope for American media.

@samlitzinger Same experience here in UK. At present the first words out of the radio speaker in daily BBC news bulletins are, invariably, "President Trump". Setting aside that the BBC is being sued by him (in Florida!?) for alleged defamation (editing in a panorama programme about his tacit incitement of capitol riot), the editors hang on his daily utterances as if tablets passed to Abraham. Yes it is important, but the context, his incoherence, is left for the listener to deduce.
