Sometimes I wonder if working from home for so long has turned me into a goblin who cannot be trusted to interact with other people without making it weird. Then I remember that I have always been a goblin who cannot be trusted to interact with other people without making it weird.

@evacide I gotta be honest, it was surprising to me to find out that I actually did have a threshold for alone-time and there was such a thing as too much.

Granted, I didn't find it until COVID, but still...

I found that out in a previous job where there were two and a half employees and most days I was the only person in the office and I wasn't the guy who got to talk to the customers. It was super-alienating. COVID wasn't near so much of a pushup because we had slack and zoom and I was interacting with cow orkers online all the time.
