Just so we're clear -- the law Israel just passed mandating death by hanging for Palestinians is apartheid.

It. Is. Apartheid.

Israel does not punish Israelis who kill Palestinians. Instead, Israel has illegally detained more than 10,000 Palestinians, including 1000 children, without charge or conviction. These are hostages held without access to counsel in concentration camps.

This. Is. Apartheid. Any politician or journalist who cannot acknowledge that is complicit. Period.

@QasimRashid Those concentration camps are now death camps

@kelleynnn @QasimRashid exactly this question everyone should be asking.

I asked a journalist covering this already in November, no answer. Asked again yesterday, still no answer. Western journalists are seriously complicit when they keep dodging the "apartheid" word and not putting things into their real perspective of state terrorism.

So what happens with Marwan Barghouti? Sitting in an Israeli prison convicted of terrorism, does the law apply to everyone who received such (unfair) trials?

@QasimRashid They have had apartheid for decades. One set of laws applies to Palestinians, different laws for Israelis, but Israel controls the territory and law enforcement of Palestine . It has always been apartheid, one state, two systems

@QasimRashid That’s a grave charge, and it deserves precision, not just passion. If a legal system applies different standards of justice based on identity, it raises serious questions under apartheid and international law. But claims this serious need clear evidence, careful language, and accountability across the board otherwise the truth risks getting lost in the rhetoric.
@QasimRashid Also part of genocide.
