helped that my hormone cycle is not wrecking me for this one. i genuinely really, really enjoyed fox's place in it. the plot was garbage as ever but it was more generally entertaining than the first for sure. and i'm not biased. and i'm not biased

@trashguts @Amberrrrrrr yapped a bit on it to amber already. god. i have a lot of feelings. i genuinely preferred it to the first movie but my hormones weren't kicking my ass for this viewing :p
to compare it to the sonic movies, this felt very sonic 2 to the first film's sonic 1. the first film had very few characters, much less confidence in the world, and felt more like a funny thing to spot references in than a movie i really enjoyed much
this movie was... still very messy, and the plot felt like nonsense, but it was much more fun to watch and had more fresh ideas than the others. i would give it a 5/10 but seeing fox mccloud in it genuinely brought it up 2 or 3 points for me. i was all smiles. very focused on seeing how they handled him all throughout. i love that guy
