The Verein behind the Pride in Ulm and Neu-Ulm has announced on Instagram plans for a so-called "Hetero Pride". This crosses a red line as such concepts are commonly used by the far-right to demonize Prides. Moreover, nationalist imagery was used in the announcement, which is not only alarming for a Pride Verein, but outright crossing a moral boundary. Therefore, we call on everyone to boycott the Pride in Ulm and Neu-Ulm, unless a formal apology is publicly made. There shall be zero-tolerance on nationalism and far-right ideology in queer spaces, and Ulm/Neu-Ulm is clearly stepping over this boundary.
