If, like me, you are #blind and following the #artemis2 launch, AI can play a wonderful role in bringing it to life. NASA is displaying graphics on the screen showing various progress and status indicators. If you have a phone capable of Apple Intelligence, put the YouTube feed into full screen, then ask Siri to describe the screen. This will send a screenshot to ChatGPT and it will give you a detailed description of the graphics.
You can also achieve something similar on a PC using PictureSmart in JAWS and similar tools.
I have longed for the day when humans continued our journey in space. Super excited about today.
@ChrisDuffley @JonathanMosen I am glad that we are going back in to space for sure.
@JonathanMosen it's a great tip. We're watching coverage from the Beeb and at the top of the hour got this discription. The screen shows a live BBC News broadcast from Cape Canaveral at 11:00. A large orange and white NASA Artemis mission rocket is on the launch pad, surrounded by tall support towers. The headline at the bottom reads: “Nasa begins fuelling Artemis mission rocket,” with a subheading noting it is the countdown to the first crewed mission around the Moon in more than 50 years.
@JonathanMosen it could be also worth checking out one of tose iOs shortcuts describing images. ON the bonus side, you can tweak the prompt so the AI can be aware of the mission. I've mapped mine for triple tapping the screen, which is when it takes a screenshot and comes back with a description. https://www.applevis.com/forum/ios-ipados/yet-another-shortcut-make-getting-descriptions-screenshots-easy

Hi all!
