Today marks the 10 year anniversary of 'Wynonna Earp', the most Buffy-like show to come after the destruction of the Hellmouth. The show loosely adapted the 1996 horror western comic book by Beau Smith, putting a new spin to it, but still starring the great-great-granddaughter of Wyatt Earp, who inherits his mystical Colt revolver that has the power to banish demonic entities called Revenants back to hell.

This show has everything: 4 seasons of badass women, stylised action, complex characters, found family, wit, snark, LGBTQIA+ representation, demons and evil supernatural forces, a devoted fanbase, and a proper ending despite cancellation.
