Ask HN: Who is hiring? (April 2026)

Luminate | Software Engineer | Onsite Los Angeles, CA | Full Time

Luminate is the entertainment industry’s preeminent data and insights partner, serving as the single source of truth for record labels, film studios, talent agencies, and every part of the music and entertainment ecosystem.

The team's stack is Java w/ Spring, React w/ Typescript, and SQL w/postgres, and snowflake. We use playwright for e2e testing and deploy our infra on AWS.

The team is relatively new (around 3 years old) but is working on an older codebase with plenty of tech debt. Luckily we actually _do_ get time to address our tech debt and take the time to leave our code better than we found it, so it's getting better all the time.

We have an oncall rotation but getting paged is pretty rare.
