to which i say NO MORE. there will be NO lies today on my stream. instead we learn SCIENCE. and TRUTH
thus i'm watching episodes of a 90s CANADIAN CHILDREN'S NATURE TV SHOW called ACORN THE NATURE NUT.
Long, long ago, when I was a kid, I met an illiterate bloke who kept a collection of geckos.
He'd found one and on asking people about it someone sent him to the library.
He was so obsessed that he taught himself to read so he could learn about lizards.
Hi collection grew to hundreds and he toured it around the country, exhibiting in libraries.
@junebug I actually remember that page! I kept a blue-tongue skink at the time and enjoyed reading every webpage I could find about them.
(I also keep a blue-tongue skink now, though not the same skink.)
