ArtemisThe truth is that you can't be "fiscally conservative & socially liberal" because if you're actually paying attention to the social issues, you will note that they are directly linked into structures of power—the same structures of power that create our "fiscal" situation.
crow@artemis fiscally conservative (what ever that means as self styled 'conservatives' have blown out every budget in my entire lifetime) but socially conservative just means you like the idea of everyone being free and getting what they need BUT if it costs you a single cent or moment of comfort then why don't we just liquidate the needy?
