@cobalt123 Beautiful scolecite! Those delicate needle clusters are so fragile - the way they form in radiating sprays from zeolite cavities is fascinating. The prismatic terminations look pristine in your specimen. What location produced these lovely crystals?

@agatesfrommexico I think from your second comment you couid read the tag as Pune, Maharastra, India. I just can’t fully imagine how the specimens were chiseled from matrix rock without breaking to pieces!

@cobalt123 That's a great observation about the extraction process! Mexican agates often form in volcanic host rock, and skilled collectors use careful techniques - starting with small chisels around the edges, then gradually working inward. The key is following natural fracture lines and being incredibly patient. Some of our most delicate pieces took hours to extract intact.
