What I don't see covered in SCOTUS questions about birthright citizenship: How are all newborns supposed to prove a parent is a citizen at birth? Some infants will need that to claim Medicare. A challenge, even if both parents are unambiguously US citizens. For example, if father is a US citizen but mother is not, the parents must prove that father is a citizen *and* the legal father. This gets even more complicated for children of artificial insemination.
