Yesterday we had a lot of fuss in #Belgrade #Serbia . The regime, empowered by framed victory in 10 rigged local elections across Serbia last weekend, finally hit the University of Belgrade hard. Following a grim event when a student of the Philosophy Faculty died several days ago, the special police forces raided the University, claiming this is a part of the criminal investigation procedure. Students and supporters gathered outside and clashed with the police

Rector Djokic was held hostage in his office in the raided Building of the Rectorate for some 12 hours under inhuman conditions. Finally he was set free, and he addressed tens of thousands of supporters from the balcony. His speech sums it all greatly, one of the better speeches we had in #Serbia for years already.
