Freeman is getting a bit of a late start to the season due to a back issue. The versatile 26-year-old was solid for the Rockies last season, batting .281 with 20 doubles and 18 steals across 110 games. Freeman should at least start against left-handed pitchers, but he could see more playing time than that going forward.
