Fun fact: the elephant is the mascot for the PHP programming language.

Elephants gather in herds, but they’re led by a matriarch. The males are not part of herds. They roam solo.

Since we’re said to be part of the “elephpant herd” one can assume that PHP is inherently female - in both makeup and leadership.
