Interestingly, in the 3rd season of Berlin Station they’re in #Estonia. But the Estonian most of the characters speak sounds off.

Checked the credits of one episode and there’s like _one_ Estonian actor, but several Hungarian ones. ”Hungarian casting” is mentioned, but nothing about Estonia. But otoh the scenery seems convincing. #Tallinn looks Tallinn etc. (At least in the wider shots, and smaller ones pass as Tallinn.)

Was #Hungary that much cheaper to shoot in, or what the fuck? LAME!

But the plot itself is convincing. It's built around the #soviet monument quarrel that actually happened in the early 00s. The story is kind of ”what if" development of this premise.

Maybe the thereabouts #Estonian pronouncing would've not annoyed me as much, if the plot building blocks had been assembled similarly half-assed way…
