Alright, fedi, tell me if I'm going mad. IKEA Billy bookshelves can supposedly hold over 60 pounds per shelf, so: Billy as entertainment centre plus some. One wide Billy, one narrow Billy next to each other (which perfectly fits in a little cubby in my place), both with an extra extension on top, so I have a massive about 4 ft wide, about 8 ft tall "entertainment center". One shelf in the wide one is removed and I tuck my server in there (which is definitely quite heavy, maybe even pushing that weight limit, and just stack the rest with consoles, DVD player, etc., the small one is for old consoles that don't do wireless controllers, and they won't be connected, just stored for display (take out and plug in manually closer to TV), maybe the small Billy has glass doors. Does this all track? Assuming I mount them to the wall so they won't tip over, or does this sound unrealistic for those who have actually used Billys?

@BluefoxLongtail Funnily I don't have a Billy, but other IKEA furniture.

With the experience from that, your idea sounds sound.
