TIL - The program view in KDE Plasma's System Monitor relies on systemd. ​​

No program view for me on openrc, I guess ​​

@maddy yeah it's annoying af i use gnome-system-monitor because kde plasma system monitor doesn't list half the active processes in it making it functionally useless. if i launch discord and then i search discord in the process view there's a 50/50 chance it just doesn't show

@maddy You have to delete the program tab and make a new one that uses the "processes" display instead of "programs", then it works fine

yeah it does because the "program" view relies on Systemd's slices where it'll group together an applications' processes nicely.

The "processes" view is probably what you're looking for. There's currently no alternative to this API that I know of.
