It’s official: Australia’s teen social media ban isn’t working, yet.

The first eSafety report on the social media minimum age shows that kids are getting around the ban, they're reporting the same level of online abuse, and age checking technology isn't working as well as hoped. It's a diabolical early result.

@luciedigitalni We'd all be better off if we weren't captives of American Big Tech. The irony is that the Fediverse already exists. Ask young people what they want and need and point them in the right direction and they can build it themselves. That's how facebook started, remember?
