@ai6yr lag sucks

And now kills people

@autolycos @ai6yr On the plus side, Internet connectivity is famous for never having unexpected connectivity failures. /s

Thankfully Tesla is a company that is famous for putting public safety ahead of profits and we can be certain they will go to the extra expense of making the entire pathway redundant and will routinely verify failover ability during scheduled out of service times. /s

@scottmiller42 @ai6yr it seems you live at least 8 hours ahead of me
@autolycos @ai6yr Iโ€™m not sure I follow what you are saying.

@scottmiller42 @ai6yr I'm saying it is several hours before April Fool's Day in my time zone

But it's plausibly April Fool's Day in yours

@autolycos @ai6yr LOL! Nice one. I totally missed the fact that tomorrow is April 1. Thanks for the explanation! And also the warning so I don't get punked tomorrow. LOL
@scottmiller42 @ai6yr here's to the spaghetti tree harvest in Italy
Spaghetti-tree hoax - Wikipedia

@autolycos @scottmiller42 It's just a bad policy, in general. I was doing a news publication (really) and just stopped publishing anything issued April 1st.

@ai6yr

I'm doing to take the moderate stance and misremember Paul Harvey telling a story of a person cornered by a mountain lion and then suggesting if you are, stand your ground, raise your arms, and urinate yourself so it knows you are marking your territory.

There are better and worse ways to pull an April Fool's Day gag

@scottmiller42

@autolycos if we are now cheering the spaghetti harvest, can I also interest people in a vacation in San Serriffe this year, or perhaps investing in its growing economy?
@scottmiller42 @ai6yr
@NovaNaturalist @scottmiller42 @ai6yr not coccygeal enough for my vacationing tastes
