ICE Out of Home Depot Phoenix Protest · Mobilize

Across the country, ICE agents continue to target immigrants in and around Home Depot stores — workers, customers, and surrounding communities. These raids are chaotic, violent, and sometimes deadly. This week, they raided the Home Depot on 36th and Thomas in Phoenix and took several workers. Enough! These atrocities are happening on Home Depot’s watch — on its properties, with its silence. The company has not taken public steps to resist or condemn these raids, nor has it demanded that the government stop carrying out enforcement operations at its stores. This Saturday we are coming together outside of the store to demand that they take a stand. Join us! Through its silence and inaction, Home Depot has become ICE’s passive partner. Every raid on its properties deepens fear in our communities. Our nationwide actions showed that people are paying attention — and now we must keep up the pressure. We demand that Home Depot immediately: 1. Make it stop. Home Depot must immediately do all it can to prevent ICE agents from swarming its properties and stores. Shut down stores. Evict the masked gunmen. Resist the Administration’s racist, violent mass-deportation campaign. 2. Make it safe. Home Depot must commit to restoring its properties into welcoming places for all people, regardless of immigration status. Every customer, worker, employee and community member deserves safety and freedom from fear. 3. Make it public. Home Depot must publicly condemn ICE raids on its properties. It must reject the use of its stores as sites of fear and random violence.
