I finished Camp Damascus, which was excellent, & have gone ahead & pre-ordered Chuck Tingle's newest novel Fabulous Bodies, which comes out in July. I am informed that it is massively important to support authors you enjoy by pre-ordering the books they publish through traditional publishers.

I cannot talk about the special little moment in Bury Your Gays that Chuck included especially for the ace/aros among us, because that would be serious spoilers, but he did remember that y'all deserve more representation & crafted a moment for the protagonist's asexual best friend that is just so choice & perfect.
There is just such love & care in Chuck's books. It's hard to explain. It's just that...as a queer person—especially as a queer autistic person—I feel like I'm reading something that is meant for me, that is meant to make me feel seen & loved.
You know...when you read a book, & it feels like a gift from the author to you.
