Altun Ha, off the northern highway in eastern Belize near the northern lagoons. Ancient Mayan type people had villages here and could access the Lagoon on the Northern River, and cross to Ambergris Caye for all the abundant seafood you could imagine- fish shrimp, clams, oysters, crabs, turtles, turtle eggs, rays, manatees, spiny lobsters. Bottom faces actually are from embedded faces on the temple!
