This is *spectacularly* stupid and un-self-aware. You can not write fiction about human beings without a social & political perspective. The notion is literally incoherent! If you think have none, what you have is an *unexamined* perspective.

To me this was the most useful thing about philosophy, the first time I read something that was like "here's the text behind all your unquestioned assumptions", I was so excited and went to a friend and said "look at this! this is why we think the way that we do!"
His response was "well yeah that's all pretty obvious stuff right?"
