I'm a kiwi writing in american because, you know, markets and all that and it's funny how IRL i'm like colour and zip and shit, but as soon as I'm writing it's all color and zipper and I've done this for so long it's second nature

@chartulae Yeah, even without any commercial pressure, I'm never sure which to use. At the moment I'm on a "fuck America, who knows how long they even last?" swing back to Australian English.

@chartulae Yup. I'm writing in 'murkin too, but there's a whole mess of hints that readers will only catch if they're Canadian, eh?

I have seriously thought about doing a "Canadian edition" where things are spelled correctly. ;) Or maybe I should be really cheeky, call the US edition the "US edition" and release the rest as an "English Edition."
