#WordWeavers 3/30 How do you keep track of important info related to your characters, world, ect?

I use the giant filing cabinet inside the left parietal lobe of my brain. It is categorized by order of atomic number, reverse-relevancy, and how 'shiny' the information appears relative to my stream of consciousness.

In limited cases, I will take physical notes on paper and then promptly lose them.

True story: When I was in fifth grade, my mother asked my teacher about my rats' nest of a desk stuffed with crumpled papers, folders, pencils, and crayons all held together with a light glaze of Elmer's glue. My teacher looked my mom dead in the eye and said "he's very organized inside his head."

That's all well and good for my writing. But when I need to find that one. f***ing. receipt. that I swear I just saw the other day, in my clothing/document/art supply/juggling equipment closet, I'm as hopeless a blind dog doing a crossword puzzle.

@AlexCorby

lol, mine uses Reverse Polish Notation.
