The OG-Man: Yuri fan/bloggerI guess I'll make a media thread of 2026. Specifically of things I watched and played that I don't plan on writing long reviews of, such as anime, games, movies and the like.
Kaya-chan Isn't Scary. It felt like a mix of Hanamaru Kindergarten, Re-Kan and Mieruko-chan, minus the Yuri of the two spooky shows. This one was very adorable and spooky but as it progressed got scarier and at times legit gave me chills. It's also a sweet family show. 8/10
Demon King's Daughter is Too Kind. Doux is love. Doux is life. Must protect Doux. Doux as ruler of the world would answer so many of live's problems. Also I love Jahi almost as much as Jahy. I need another season. This brought me great joy. 9/10
Tis' Time for Torture, Princess! Season 2. I really enjoyed Season 1 and Season 2 was more of the same...but it somehow made what was already great even better. I laughed a lot in S1 but S2 hurt my jaw at times. This series was made for me. It is now an all-time favorite. Also Krall is love. 10/10
Wash it All Away. This one started off nice with a chill vibe, some cuteness and sexy laundry action. The developing secret story had me intrigued too. Unfortunately as it progressed it became less of a show that appealed to me until I stopped caring. It had some lovely ladies at least. 5/10
#WrestleMania 42. It was similar to 41 for me. Night 2 was far superior to but unlike many online I didn't go nuclear against Night 1. I agree WWE is mega corporate soulless but that's nothing new. I enjoyed parts of Night 1, LOVED Night 2. Also stop sabotaging my boy Cody Rhodes, damn it! 8/10
Mortal Kombat 2. I enjoyed it for similar reasons as the Mario Galaxy movie. Lots of fanservice, feels a lot more like the games, had a "just roll with it" narrative, isn't reviewer friendly and has poor hiccups but is still so much fun to watch. 8/10
#HeMan #MastersOfTheUniverse. 80s cheese in a PG-13 world. They knew exactly who the target audience was for this movie, went all in and I am so grateful. Had a blast. Plot is very simple but it works. It's a must for fans of the franchise or even people who like fun and intense adventures. 8/10
