I was raised Catholic. I can't speak for all religions, although if I'm being honest I haven't found much evidence other religions are different or better, but I do know where Marco Rubio and JD Vance's bodies are buried.

And as someone who grew up in the belly of the beast as it were, let me tell you, Catholicism is not fucking compatible with Democracy. It never has been. You are being duped if you think there's a good version that respects human agency. It's a cult. Full stop.
