apng didnt work eizher :( alzhough i might have put zhe data carrier on zhe last frame instead of zhe first. ill try it again in a minute

i zhink i have to make a gif wizh a first frame zhat is solid colour + data to survive color tabling. zhen i can figure out a way to make zhat frame hide itself. maybe use it as background

webp aaalmost works. some of zhe json parses in severals but it gets an error halfway zhrough

oki i will sacrifice animation for plurals. tusky hates animated icons so i cant keep zhem zhat long anyway lol

@mynotaurus i think you could get gif to work by meddling with the palette and the way the pluraldown encoder picks colors. the resulting image would have a slightly worse palette and the noise at the bottom row would be a lot more visible though
