I'm begging real professors to step out of academia and engage with the laypeople more. There are impostors pretending to be professors. Stop the Impostor Syndrome. You're much smarter than the average people and they need your help.

If you don't step out of the walls of academia, the information space will be filled with misinformation, disinformation, conspiracy theories, pseudoscience, etc. Now is really the crucial time for the scientists and academics to speak out. Because this is just quite alarming.
