darn it. I typed out a lengthy reply and was about to hit send and the power here cut out......lost it all! grrrrhhhh! (I need a new battery!)
Before I start typing it all over again, would you mind telling me what you know about the "inner workings" of Mastodon/Fediverse- meaning, how this place differs compared to corporate social media platforms.
I am asking because we often hear the same complaint from new accounts who are frustrated/annoyed because no one provided enough information about how to find accounts and how they discover yours.
@SnowyCA I'm just not interested in sharing things online anymore or hearing about things. I'm bored of it all and it's highly unhealthy for me to continue hurting myself here.
In that case I am confused because I don't understand why you are saying "this place sucks" and "there's nothing to engage about here...", blaming this platform , when you're the one who *seems* to not want to communicate.
I don't know you so I can't offer advice, but, If you feel it's unhealthy to share online, maybe taking a break is ok? Sometimes people need time away, however other times they need the opposite.
It's your choice, either way, leave or if you decide to stay , you might want to know this is a place filled with passionate people who care about a wide variety of subjects. 🙂 Maybe you simply haven't found "your people" yet
