@nileane I keep wondering if there were ever a scenario where JK would relinquish all profits from HP IP and have it go to a non-political charity — if she somehow isn’t directly tied to profits — would there ever even be a way to rehab HP? Not that she’d ever do that or even be willing to lose her crusade against Trans people

@skc @nileane right I mean that's your problem of course: there's really no way the premise will happen, so it's all a little moot :)

Most of society is also still apparently fine with HP, so I'm not sure how much it even needs ‘rehab'ing’.

Unless something dramatic happens HP has has such an impact I doubt it'll ever really go away, decades from now it'll probably end up something like Roald Dahl: People occasionally bring up the problems, mostly to rolled eyes.
