My daughter was playing a game called Peak and complained that it caused her computer to crash, and by crash, the screen goes black and it was completely seized up.

A little web searching, and I employed several fixes
-Force the game to use DX12
-Limit the frame rate to 60 fps
-Deleted the registry entries for the game related to Screenmanager
-Launch the game as a admin
-Also, quit the Discord app

One or multiple of those fixed the issue

Though I think the main thing was limiting the frame rate and by deleting the screenmaager registry entries, it reset the game to launching in full screen right at the menu. Before it would launch in a window and go to full screen to play the game. I think that switch was causing it to hard crash.n
