I feel like it would be interesting to plot projected opening date as a function of time for rail megaprojects. Some I’d include:

- Crossrail (now complete)
- HS2 phase 1
- Stuttgart 21
- Chūō Shinkansen
- Hokkaido Shinkansen to Sapporo
- California HSR?

Any I’ve missed?
