@AkaSci The point of course is that Musk's behavior is somewhat anomalous. Figuring out why there is an anomaly can improve your understanding, sometimes enormously.
Take Ampere's law - Maxwell noted that it didn't work if you inserted a capacitor. He suggested an additional term that fixed the problem and also ensured charge conservation, and then showed that it predicted waves traveling at the speed of light. We then knew what light was! Radio, etc. was the result.
and my response to this is, defund the police. Defund the military. Fear mongering creates a society that lacks education and infrastructure, clean water, clean air and morals. All we have is a stick, punishment, and an incarceration system that enslaves people. Those people locked up in prisons don't watch TV all day. They work for multinational corporations and earned $.06-$.12 an hour.
