mccA thing that never stops being funny to me is that electoral reform is stymied by the fact there are separate camps who want instant-runoff voting, Condorcet ranked voting, and proportional representation, and they don't cooperate. IRV is trash. It's just a different kind of broken. Maybe for a single winner election it is a reasonable compromise, but I won't just not work with pro-IRV people, I will actively oppose them when it comes to parliamentary representatives.
