Wonderful research!

That it’s taken so long to map this powerful & joyous organ reflects the fear of women that is ingrained so deeply into patriarchal cultures, including those of science, medicine & law. In some spaces it is as if the only safe woman is one who does not speak, cannot assert her own reality & exists only to provide service. Ignorance is their legacy.
