I will say right away that the overwhelming majority of nonprofit database management is learning to use packaged databases very well. Much less Python on SQL stuff. Think Salesforce, which many nonprofits use (though the most dominant player is Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge).
Still, it’s a cool industry and I like it quite a lot.
