Gerald R Ford aircraft carrier hit by Iran.
@chariselee.bsky.social Trump didn't say that.
Not clear who the "we" and "they" are in the story he's telling, but it's about kidnapping Maduro from Venezuela (the Gerald Ford was involved in that) because he says about 'capturing a bad man from a military base and putting him in a helicopter'. Might be a "A Venezuelan came up to me, tears in his eyes, and said..." story. I'm not going to watch his speech to figure out the pronoun references, but it's about Venezuela.

@chariselee.bsky.social Here we go, the bit of the speech with the "17 different directions" thing starts "When we hit Venezuela..." from 20:17 timestamp: https://youtube.com/watch?v=noqZWqPPxP4&t=1207s
He'd earlier said the US shot down all 101 missiles Iran fired at the Ford (starting at 17:35). Do I believe the Iranians fired 101 missiles at the Ford? No. Does he describe shooting them down like a 6-year-old would? Yes. But clearly the opposite of a statement that Iran hit the Ford.

I tend to not believe either source of this news except when they both agree.
