The vast majority of people who will be impacted by trans bans in sports will be little girls with short hair or arms that are "too muscular."

It will also mean that when a woman is good at her sport the disgusting grumbling and whispering about "may she is he" gets taken more seriously.

This happened with Paula Radcliffe for running marathons too fast. If it helps you to think of a white cis woman being the victim of this.

Of course little black girls will take the brunt of this. As ever.

@futurebird the trans ban in the Olympics also mandates genetic testing so I think we're going to end up with a lot of athletes who have been assigned female at birth and been living their whole lives as women getting randomly kicked out because it turns out they have abnormal chromosomes

@waitworry @futurebird This is exactly what happened last time, and why chromosome testing was ended. Women were finding out they had androgen insensitivity, or only a single X chromosome (no Y), or were XXY females, and the IOC finally ended chromosome testing in 1999 to protect the dignity of athletes who don't already know they have these conditions.

A couple of times; I have tried explaining to those promoting such bans how something like a quarter of people will eventually show up with chromosome variations as a result of being alive.

The responses have been to simply deny that fact.

And thus is the actual bigoted motivation demonstrated.

Finding women who were assigned female at birth who lived their lives as nothing but a woman to be told they are not consideren women...
History is easily forgotten...
