Nigel Small#AI is most heartily embraced by those who have been "faking it" for years. It gives them a sudden and low-effort opportunity to feel like they are finally able to present themselves as legitimate, knowledgeable, capable, and relevant.
Manni@technige Not quite sure whether that is true. The ones that did not care about their work now just use it and still don't care. And yes: maybe they do feel a tiny bit better.
But I see the glee/heartiness in a somewhat different group of people. But I'm still not quite sure where they are coming from. It could be people who always wished they could be good at what they do, but didn't want to invest too much into that?
