Ending the weekend with a couple of astro shots.

Taken with a Tamron 100-400mm lens. A fair bit of light pollution around as well, so I didn't expect the star field photo to be any clearer.

Happy with the moon shot, but can do better I think.

The more I think about it, the star field shot is pretty decent for the amount of light pollution around here (new suburban estate)

@purserj Yeah, that moon is lovely but it does look like the focus wasn't quite there, or maybe a tiny bit of shake on a longer exposure?
