In the last month I've played RE2, RE4, RE9 and become a Leon stan. Should I try RE6?

I played it for like an hour 12 years ago and really disliked it. But it's the missing Leon game for me now. After playing the modern games, is it possible to play RE6 and enjoy it? Is there even anything notable storywise for Leon in this game?
