@ariadne I'm not swayed either way by that guy, nor have i listened to his take. For me, i admire those i respect working to get around or avoid it. Projects i like that aren't engaging with avoiding/minimising/negotiating/lobbying back (or are jumping the gun and already implementing), I feel fine to state i don't feel anyone can have as much confidence in it's sovereingty.

tbf, i see F(L)OSS as a war on/rejection of neoliberal socioeconomics; seeing it this way makes me predisposed to dodge/fight intervention as early as possible. I'm also not in the applicable legislative zone, but i know the speed and ease which something like this catches decides the damage everywhere else.
