Stupid LLMs sap some of the joy from finding unexpected things about the world. "Is it real or is it a shrimp jebuz level of fake made for clicks?"

It is far more difficult to trust anything nowadays. Maybe good in a way, like, "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence", but it is so tiring to cross check everything.

@nina_kali_nina For me this started years ago when everything became about amazon links, prior to that you could search 'best whatever' or 'whatever reviews' and that is what you would get. ai is a whole other level, or is it pretending to be a whole other level, perhaps it is a level stolen off of someone else... who knows
